Our next community work day is on Saturday 5th December, 10am-4pm! We will be continuing to clear the rubbish and plant trees along the banks of the river. The rubbish collected will be removed by @transportforlondon later this month. We will provide hand sanitiser, snacks, hot drinks, tools and work gloves. You will need to bring your own gloves, mask, extra clothing, and sturdy boots you don’t mind getting muddy!
We ask that you please respect physical distancing. We will be keeping track of the latest Government guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety. Thank you to @thames21 for the equipment and support.
MEETING POINT: the blue bridge off Cowbridge Lane (IG11 8LQ) at 10am. If you arrive later than that head north on the west side of the river or get in touch via the event. We will put a map up and post a photo on the event page for you to follow.

Let us know if you plan on joining by emailing river.roding@gmail.com, and if you have any special requirements for the day.
Hope to see you there!
Accessibility:
The walk to the site along the river is a narrow path and takes about 30 minutes. There is a low wall that needs stepping over and a scaffold board pathway, which can be slippy. At present, this walk is not wheelchair accessible. The work can involve lifting, but only within your own ability (and following manual handling practices!).
We welcome all ages and abilities. Children will need adult supervision at all times.
